Who we are
This Privacy Policy describes how Sudoku Lite (“the App”) handles information. The App is published by Tangows (“we”, “us”, “our”). If you have questions, contact support@tangows.com.
This policy is designed to help you complete Google Play’s Data safety form and to meet Families/User Data privacy-policy requirements.
Summary
- We do not require an account and do not collect names, emails, or precise location.
- The App shows banner/interstitial ads via Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). AdMob may collect certain device and usage data to serve and measure ads.
- The App offers an in-app purchase to remove ads; payments are processed by Google Play Billing. We do not receive your full payment details.
- We store minimal local data on your device (e.g., current puzzle, settings, statistics) using on-device storage.
Data we (the developer) handle
- On-device only (not sent to us):
- Game state (current board, notes, time elapsed)
- Preferences (theme, sound, vibration, difficulty)
- Local statistics (games played/won, best times)
- We do not: create user accounts, collect contact info, collect precise location, or sell data.
Data handled by third parties
We integrate the services below. Their SDKs may collect data per their policies to operate, secure, and measure their services:
- Google Mobile Ads (AdMob)
- Possible data categories: IP address (to derive coarse location), device identifiers (e.g., Advertising ID), app interactions/diagnostics, and ad performance data.
- Purpose: Serving and measuring ads, fraud prevention, and service operations.

- Google Play Billing (for the “Remove Ads” purchase)
- We do not receive your full payment instrument details. Transaction processing and receipts are handled by Google.
Your Google account and store-level settings (e.g., ad personalization) are governed by Google’s policies and your device OS settings.
Children’s privacy
We design the App to be suitable for a broad audience, including younger players.
- We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
- Ads shown in the App are intended to comply with Google Play Families requirements.
- Depending on your region and choices, ads may be personalized (where permitted and with consent) or non-personalized. We also apply ad content rating limits. Implementation details may vary by region and Google/OS settings.
- Where required, you can review/change ad consent via Settings → Privacy & consent.
If you are a parent/guardian and believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact support@tangows.com and we will take appropriate action.
How we use information
- Operate the App (save/restore puzzles, settings, stats on your device)
- Show and measure ads (via AdMob)
- Process in-app purchases (via Google Play Billing)
Data sharing
- We do not sell personal data.
- Data may be shared with the providers listed above solely to operate their services.
Data retention
- On-device data (puzzles, settings, stats) remains on your device until you delete the App or clear the App’s storage.
- Ad and billing providers retain data per their own policies.
Security
We aim to follow industry-standard practices appropriate for a casual mobile game and limit the data we handle directly.
Your choices
- Ads: You can remove ads via the in-app purchase. You can also adjust ad personalization in your Google account/Android settings.
- Device controls: You can reset your Advertising ID or limit ad tracking in your device settings.
- Delete local data: Uninstalling the App or clearing its storage removes locally stored game data.
International users
Third-party providers (e.g., Google) may process data on servers located in multiple countries. See their policies for details.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you in-app.
